David Collins House

In 1985, the Foundation saw the need for accommodation close to hospital for out-of-town patients. A modern home unit was purchased off Risdon Road and was furnished to suit families, with generous assistance from Lions clubs, Rotary clubs, businesses and the public.

In a quiet corner of New Town, a view of the river, ducks at the bottom of the garden, the unit has been a place of quiet refuge for over 300 families in the past 24 years.
